The Harrison County Service Unit of the Salvation Army kicked off the annual Bell ringer Campaign on Friday, Nov. 23. Bell ringer volunteers are manning the kettle posts each Friday and Saturday until Christmas Eve. Kettle posts are located at Walmart, Ken’s NewMarket, Speedway and Biancke’s from 4 to 8 p.m. each Friday and Saturday. Each volunteer works a two-hour shift in support of this community project. More volunteers are needed. You can help by contacting Darwin Root at 234-2156 or John Hodge at 234-6033.
