The Harrison County Thorobreds (4-9) and the Bracken County Polar Bears (1-16) both came into last Thursdays game with seven-game losing streaks. Although the Breds fell behind early, they came away with a 70-51 victory, earning their first win since defeating Covington Scott on Dec. 8.
Bracken Countys Devin Workman opened the game by hitting back-to-back three point baskets in the first quarter to give his team a 6-0 lead. The rest of the game, however, was controlled by Harrison County.
