Life often throws even the most prepared a few curve balls every now and then.
From flu to rain, the Marching Thorobreds have had to deal with several this year, and Saturday’s performance was no different.
The band’s scheduled performance in Stanton was relegated to the parking lot after a deluge of rain drenched the Powell County High School football field. These performance conditions were obviously not ideal, but the challenges were compounded as the field was not full size and two abandoned cars dotted the field around the 20 yard-line.
