The 100-year-old law firm of Swinford and Sims will be continuing under the same moniker with three new attorneys.
Frank Benton IV, Frank Benton V and Elaine Griffith have stepped in to take over the operation that was recently vacated by Doug Miller.
When Miller was appointed Commonwealth Attorney to fill the unexpired term of the late Doug Wright, Miller had to break ties with any private law practice.
“It’s quite an honor,” said the elder Benton of stepping into an existing practice with the history of Swinford and Sims.
