Just over two months after a domestic disturbance left a Cynthiana woman recovering from a gunshot wound, her alleged attacker has been indicted.
Sandra Southwood, 42, allegedly went to her ex-husband’s home on Confederate Drive on Friday, July 30, and began firing shots at the ex-husband, Charles Southwood, and his girlfriend, Amber Florence, as well as firing at the neighbor.
Southwood, who has been in jail at the Grant County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond since the incident, now faces a nine-count indictment.
The grand jury, which met Tuesday, charges Southwood with first degree assault, four counts of first degree wanton endangerment, first degree fleeing or evading police, first degree criminal mischief and two counts of third degree criminal mischief.
