A Harrison County woman is in fair condition after being airlifted to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Sunday morning.
Kathy L. Smith, 28, was traveling eastbound on US 62 East around 11:30 a.m. when she lost control of her 1996 Ford Explorer, said Sheriff’s Deputy Nathan Gasser.
Gasser said Smith’s vehicle ran off the left side of the road, went through a fence and struck an embankment, flipping the vehicle.
Gasser said Smith was thrown from the car.
