Tonya Canafax, a resident of Berry, KY, was among over 500 students from Thomas More College who made the Fall Dean’s List.

Weston Jenkins, son of Dwayne and Trish Jenkins of Cynthiana, was named to the President’s List at Eastern Kentucky University for the fall 2012 semester.
Jenkins earned a 4.0 grade point average during the semester.

Virginia Louise Marsh, a sophomore from Cynthiana,  has been named to Campbellsville University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester.
The academic honors’ list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or above for the semester with a course load of at least 12 hours.

Evyn White of Berry, a senior at Centre College, is studying abroad in France during CentreTerm, the College’s unique, three-week winter term.
Under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Fieberg, associate professor of chemistry, the course is focused on the progression of French painting from the 1860’s to the 1900’s.
Students spend time in art museums, conservation labs, and actual painting sites of important artists in Paris and Provence. The scientific study includes light and its interaction with matter, color mixing, chemical and physical causes of color, and the biology of vision.
White is the daughter of Greg White of Berry and Temple White of Palm City, Fla. and is a graduate of Owen County High School.
