Katie LaCore Fryman, daughter of Suzanne LaCore of Georgetown and Rick Fryman of Cynthiana, was awarded a degree from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing during a pinning ceremony on May 6. Fryman graduated magna cum laude.
The UK College of Nursing offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, as well as two doctoral programs, the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing.
