McVey - Morgan-Sanders

Cynthiana student Allison McVey was awarded a Master of Education from Lipscomb University at the conclusion of the spring semester 2014.
McVey, a graduate from Cynthiana, studied Instructional Practice and has completed all the credits necessary to graduate, said university President L. Randolph Lowry.
The May 3 commencement ceremony marked the largest graduating class in Lipscomb’s history as the university awarded 659 degrees.

Hayley Morgan-Sanders of Cynthiana received a BA in French at Centre College’s 191st Commencement held on Sunday, May 25 at the College’s Norton Center for the Arts.  She was one of 325 seniors who were granted degrees, a class that posted an impressive four-year graduation rate topping 84 percent -- the highest graduation rate among all Kentucky colleges and universities. Gov. Steven L. Beshear was this year’s featured Commencement speaker.
Morgan-Sanders is the daughter of Jill Morgan and Ray Sanders of Cynthiana and is a graduate of Harrison County High School.
