50 years in prison for convicted killer

It’s over.
And that, Dora Clair says, gives her some satisfaction.
However, she remains frustrated after her daughter’s murderer was sentenced last week in Pendleton County Circuit Court.
“He refused to give a statement,” Clair said. “I wanted to know why he did what he did.”
Clair said she was initially promised a written statement from Bass Webb as part of the plea agreement in the murder of her daughter, Bryia Runiewicz.
