After 40 years in Cynthiana, fifth-generation Bullard granddaughter says the move to small-town USA has met every need of the still-family-owned business.
Unless one stumbled onto Bullard’s website, the mounds of history behind one of Cynthiana’s shining stars would never be completely known or understood.
The business saw its first light of day in 1898 San Francisco when Edward Dickinson Bullard began supplying carbide lamps and other mining equipment to gold and copper miners in California, Nevada and Arizona.
