2012’s first

There weren’t a lot of firsts associated with Kristi Perkins’ pregnancy and delivery. It was to be the fourth child for Kristi and her husband Daniel.
However, Miranda Lee arrived as the first baby of 2012 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
“We were real surprised,” Daniel said of his fourth child and third daughter who was born at 8:10 a.m. on Jan. 2. “I thought there’d be three or four babies up here.”
Delivered by Dr. Derek Clarke, Miranda Lee weighed in at 5 pounds, 9 ounces and is 17.75 inches long.
