2011 Farmers Market to open Saturday

The 2011 Harrison County Farmers Market will open at Flat Run Veterans Park on Saturday, April 30. The market will open at 9 a.m. At the present time flowers, crafts and some early spring vegetables should be available.
At 10 a.m. we will celebrate the grand opening with a presentation from Roger Thomas, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Ag Policy. Local dignitaries will also discuss the facility and the work that went into the development of the market. We hope that local citizens of Harrison County will come and support the new market.
