In connection with the annual Writer’s Conference, there will be nearly 20 authors at a Book Signing event at the Prizing House on Friday evening, Sept. 27.
The free public book signing will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The public is welcome and urged to stop by for a few minutes. A gathering of authors like this is a rare event for a town the size of Cynthiana.
Some of the authors who will be in attendance at the book signing are Gurney Norman, Eric James, Cynthia Ellingsen, Bob Johnson and Julie Hensley (Bluegrass Writers Studio) George Ella Lyon, Georgia Green Stamper, Ann H. Gabhart, Jan Watson, Lalie Dick, Steve Flairty, Debbie Cooper, Terry Cummins, Kenn Grimes, John Sparks, Leatha Kendrick, Matthew Haughton, Five Points represented by Bud Blanton and D. A. Lawson.
Following the book signing, the 2013 Writing Contest Awards will be given at the gala dinner at The Prizing House. Neil Chethik, director of the Carnegie Center, will give the keynote address.

Classes will be offered Friday and Saturday for the conference. The fee for the conference is $125. This includes the dinner and two meals Saturday.
