Local celebrity dog is continuing to recover after allegedly being left to starve in a Harrison County home.
Before all is said and done, Harley, the name given to a dog being held by the Harrison County Animal Shelter due to a cruelty case, could end up being given the keys to the city.
“I would say the list has grown to around 75 people that are in line to adopt that dog,” said animal control officer Alan Fryman. “I have never seen a community react to something like this the way they have.”
