The Harrison County 11-year-old all stars have been victorious in the three pool games they have played in the tournament at Anderson County.

They defeated the host Anderson County squad on Saturday 6-1 as Nathan Fryman pitched a masterful two hitter throwing only 84 pitches.

Jacob Honeycutt smashed a third-inning grand slam to provide all of the runs needed for the first-round victory.

Sunday’s game versus Richmond American was a much more difficult task as the Harrison County squad used three pitchers, Honeycutt, Reese Asher and CJ Claypool, to subdue the Richmond team.

Luke Slucher led the hitting attack for the Harrison County squad with three hits in the game.

Asher and Russ Faulconer each added two hits including key RBI doubles for the 11 year olds.
